Dr. Cao treated a 22 year old female for severe amenorrhea. She had been seeking help from Doctors for 5 years with no results. In July of this year the patient was also diagnosed with a pituitary microadenoma as a result of increased growth hormones. Several other hormones were also elevated. In addition, the patient had been experiencing severe headaches, IBS syndrome, high stress, difficulty with concentration, memory, sporadic back pain, along with night sweats, cold body, hands, and feet.

After the first few treatments with Dr. Cao, the patient experienced significant improvement with the headaches. After the sixth treatment the patient experienced the first menstrual bleeding in five years. The patient is still being treated by Dr. Cao with Acupuncture and Herbs to rebuild the patients menstrual cycle.

I am very happy to say my patient notified me on 11/9/14 that Tuesday November, 3rd she went to a new Gynecologist for a second opinion. Both her original Gynecologist and the Specialist she saw were uncompromising in their idea that surgery was necessary. The new Physician she saw also explained that if ‘focal carcinoma in situ’ was the diagnosis, that surgery was the only option. My patient told him about the herbal protocol that I had prescribed. She then asked him to take a look at the area and notify her if he found any abnormalities. Upon visual inspection, the doctor saw no abnormalities. He seemed very shocked. Then he inspected her with a Colposcope. He saw nothing of concern and said that she did not need treatment. He explained to her that he had seen many cancers in that area and that this was not normally the case. Since the doctor found nothing wrong, his treatment plan is to monitor the area for 6-8 weeks, then have the patient come in for a biopsy to make sure the area is cancer-free.

Needless to say my patient and I are very excited about the diagnosis. My patients doctor explained that her immune system must have cleared it up over the last six weeks. He very begrudgingly added ‘or whatever herbs you were taking’. My patient said that “his opinion is of no importance to me, I only sought a clinical assessment of my health from him. I know that without Dr. Cao’s excellent diagnostic skills and knowledge of Chinese herbs, I would have been forced into surgery” . I am forever grateful to Dr. Cao.

After one month the CT scan showed no tumor.

The patients Gynecologist said the cancer was “infinitely better”.

Dr. Cao also recommended that the patient eat a more holistic diet. The patient was instructed to continue with her Gynecologist for any recommended biopsies.

Dr. Cao was contacted by the patient on 11/19/14, and the patient notified her that she had a second menstruation. The patient and Dr. Cao are very happy about this news. This is her second period in 5 years. Acupuncture and herbal treatment were successful in rebuilding her menstrual cycle.
